The elaboration of the general policies of the Party to women
The basic problem that must be faced is the accumulation of mistaken views concerning the need for specific work amongst women. To change our stance on this issue, so that the whole spectrum of the Party can develop specialised work amongst women, within the boundaries of its more general programme of action.
The following factors must be taken into account:
That the strategy of the ruling class, the employers, uses the tradition and religion to control women and the dissemination of pseudo-modernising and ostensibly contemporary views which put o one side the importance of class struggle. Working women are used as a tool to expand flexible and temporary forms of employment.
That in the conditions of retreat and stagnation of the movement, women face these problems even more sharply.
The central duty of the Party is to develop the political consciousness of women who belong to the working class and other popular strata, especially of young women. That we raise our interventions and activity in the trade unions and mass organisations concerning the problems of women.
