WORKERS MAY DAY
“We can live better. The regression to the conditions of previous decades is not the realism of our epoch. 126 after May Day in Chicago, we do not deserve poverty, destitution, unemployment, all-day shifts just to make ends meet. We produce all the wealth and it belongs to us.”
With this statement, the All-workers Militant Front (PAME) calls on the working class of our country to honour May Day 2012, to strengthen their struggles and to defend their rights in every way. Demonstrating once again its solidarity with the heroic struggle of the steelworkers, PAME calls on the working class of Athens and the neighbouring regions of Attica to honour May Day at the gates of “Greek Steelworks”. To express in this way their solidarity with the tough 6month strike struggle of the steelworkers which is an important matter for all the workers. At the same time, the need for a multi-facetted escalation of the solidarity with the striking workers is being highlighted, as their struggle has reached a particularly crucial stage.
May Day rallies are being prepared for over 70 cities all over the country.
