Statement by KKE regarding the new criminal attacks by the Israeli army in Gaza
KKE denounces to the Greek people the unacceptable stand taken by the Greek government and the UN Security Council, since it legalizes and encourages in fact Israel to further escalate violence.
KKE calls upon the working people and youth to express militant solidarity with the struggle of the Palestinian people and to demand:
- Immediate cessation of the attacks of the Israeli army.
- Withdrawal of the Greek battle ship on the Lebanese coast
- Closing of the US base in Souda Bay, Crete, heavily involved in the actual military operations in Eastern Mediterranean
