Congress greetings

Dear
Comrades in the KKE,
The
Communist Party in Denmark, KPiD, salutes you on the
occasion of your 19th party congress.
You are
convening your congress at a moment that is crucial for the Greek working class
and the Greek people, as well as for the peoples of many other countries.
The
economic crisis is very deep and poses many serious problems for the people: a
very high unemployment rate, growing poverty, severe cutbacks in public
services, etc. At the same time, the big monopolies enjoy increasing profits,
and the fascist forces have grown stronger in Greece and in other countries.
Faced
with such challenges, it is extremely important that the vanguard of the
working class stands firm on its historic task. We know and appreciate that the
KKE and KNE will do their utmost to fulfill this
vanguard role.
We
Danish communists will follow the resolutions of your congress very closely.
Not only will your decisions be important for the Greek people, but they will also
serve as a valuable inspiration for us and for communists all over the world.
We wish
you a fruitful congress.
