Festival KKE-KNE: Solidarity with the Palestinian people and their struggle
The undersigned communist, workers’ and progressive parties that participated in the celebrations of the 90th anniversary of KKE and the 40th of KNE express once more their solidarity with the Palestinian people and its struggle to put an end to occupation and the settlements; for the foundation of an independent Palestinian state with east Jerusalem as its capital; for the return of the refuges on the basis of the 194 UN resolution.
The resolution of the problem and the restoration of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people will contribute in the stability of the Middle East region and the whole world.
We strongly call for the lift of the blockade imposed on the Palestinian people, for putting an end to the confiscation of the Palestinian land and the dismantling of the wall, for the liberation of the 11.000 political prisoners held in Israeli prisons including all leaders of the Palestinian national struggle, members of the legislative council and other public and national institutions
We also express our solidarity with the people of the Middle East that are confronting the imperialist plans in Iraq, Lebanon and Syria, as well as the danger of a new imperialist war in the region.
