Immediate Stop of the Israeli Crimes Against the Palestinian People

In his intervention, during the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, Georgios Toussas, MEP of the KKE, noted the following:
“The KKE condemns the military operations of Israel in the Gaza Strip, the murder of 91 Palestinians, among the victims being 24 children, many women and hundreds of injured.
These operations pave the way for the generalization of the imperialist intervention and the war against Syria and Iran, planned and promoted by the USA, the NATO, the EU and Israel, for the control of the energy routes, the oil and gas resources and the exploitation of the peoples of the wider region.
The KKE asks to stop the murderous air attacks of Israel in the Gaza Strip and to immediately withdraw the Israeli occupation troops from the Palestinian territory.
The KKE supports the struggle of the Palestinian people for the creation of an independent, viable and sovereign Palestinian state, within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital”.
