Regional Meeting of the Communist and Workers' Parties from south and eastern Mediterranean, Red Sea and the Gulf Region
KKE will host the regional meeting of the communist and Communist and Workers' Parties from south and Eastern Mediterranean, Red Sea and the Gulf Region in Athens, on 5th January 2008.
The meeting will focus on “The recent developments in the region and the response by the communist and antiimperialist forces”.
Their participation have confirmed the Democratic Progressive Tribune, Bahrain, AKEL Party of Cyprus, Communist Party of Israel, Jordanian Communist Party, TUDEH Party of Iran, Lebanese Communist Party, Palestinian Peoples’ Party, Syrian Communist Party, Communist Party of Syria, Sudanese Communist Party, Communist Party of Turkey.
The meeting will be also attended by Kyriakos Triantafilidis, MEP of AKEL, Chairman of the Committee of the EP for relations with the Palestinian Legislative Council and G. Toussas MEP of KKE member of the same Committee.
