The reorganisation of the forces of and the ranks of the party and its organisation in workplaces and industries
To raise the subjective capabilities of the Party it is necessary to: reorganise its forces decisively, with a well intentioned spirit, based on its character and duties. To complete the effort, which began in recent years, for the planned development of forces and the building of the Party in the working class, and more generally in work places and industries.
The renewal of the ranks of the Party with new forces from the working class demands concrete planning and stable, patient checking. It is necessary to create these conditions with all round political-ideological as well mass, so that the ground is prepared for planned recruitment from the working class, the popular strata, the lower middle strata, the poor farmers, salaried scientists and women.
The orientation of the party must be: to increase the number of industrial PBOs and sectors, the number of PBOs in workplaces, the number of worker PBOs based on area. To develop, based on experience, the selection of working class cadre amongst them women and young people, with a high level of political and theoretical education and militant activity. Each PBO must develop close links with workers as friends, supporters, allies so that they take an interest in the theses of the KKE. To have a widened circle of contacts for joint action in the movement, in the rallying of forces, to systematically keep them informed and to listen to their opinions and proposals.
The leading work of the CC and all its bodies must be orientated to work in each industry and the whole spectrum of the Party, to the level of the PBO. This work will aimed at forming social alliances in each industry and also more generally. The better coordination of the industry-based organisations of the Party, the organizations based on sectors of the economy with the area organisations. In coordination with organisations which are active over a wider geographical area, so that their work is connected, with 2 criteria as their basis, the place of work and the place they live.
The reorganisation of forces, which began a few years ago with the goal of improving the orientation and content of activity of the Party, met difficulties, either because the goal was not fully explained, or in some cases took only a formal character. For this reason cases where there have been difficulties must be examined, so that the necessary changes and corrections can be made.
The Party organisations must examine how the reorganisation of the Party’s forces can proceed based on the criteria which are referred to in the theses.
